I was updating the "Healing Philosophy" part of my home page recently, and as I was writing a line from a poem I wrote 8 years ago came to mind . . .
"Your own love will heal the wound in yourself you're afraid to feel."
This one line still remains, to this day, to be one of the most healing pieces of wisdom to come thru me.
.
The poem is called "Healing Muse". I wrote it during a very poetic time in 2013. I was living in a real life gingerbread house in an enchanted garden on the edge of a forest on an island in the Puget Sound! There's a post about that experience here on this blog if you want to see and read a little bit about that phase of my life. It was a beautiful place to write and channel the muse!!
.
The poem is quite whimsical, as were many poems that came thru that year. It was a quirky little thing that really inspired me at the time. Perhaps it can help someone else now.
Here's the poem:
.
I love it when Spirit drops truth darts disguised as poetry!
.
Like this:
"Love yourself when your buttons are pushed!"
.
There's a tendency to look outside ourselves (in irritation or blame) when we get triggered, but my philosophy, echoed in this poem, is to look WITHIN.
.
Give it a try, and maybe you'll feel the gifts of the healing muse, too!

✨ XOXO!! ♡
